We are looking for a "Accounting Manager" for our client company which is a major producer of portable heaters and air conditioners, the company has expanded to include nearly every category of small domestic appliances in coffee, food preparation and cooking industry, as well as household cleaning and ironing since 1950.

The company is present in 33 countries with direct commercial subsidiaries and sells its product to countries all over the world, remaining committed to creating innovations that bring convenience and style into every customers' home making the everyday better.

Job Description:

Manage the financial month-end close process,
Prepare accounting entries related to areas of responsibility including but not limited to all owned stores accounting transactions, fixed assets, inter-company, revenue and sales adjustments and other non-routine accounting transactions based on US GAAP,
Prepare, record, and reconcile all inter-company transactions between the retail stores (separate legal entities) and parent company. Resolve all reconciling items timely,
Responsible for the facilitating of pre-close and post close analytical meetings. Preparation of management reporting package including value-add flux analysis commentaries,
Assist with establishing and maintaining corporate accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure conformance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations,
Key supporter of the external audits by providing timely and accurate data and communication,
Document implementation plans of newly issues accounting rules.

Position Requirements:

Expected to have a bachelor's degree in related fields like Business Administration, Economics etc.,
Having min.7 years of experience including hands-on accounting roles of mid to large size controls focused companies,
Fluent in English,
Experience in a consumer products company preferred,
Excellent knowledge and application of US GAAP,
Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office,
Direct experience with SAP.
